the romania hotel, houston southwest had a decent room for the price. the location is pretty close to galleria. i really enjoyed taking a few laps in the outdoor pool. the staff did their best to accommodate me when i asked about changing rooms, and i appreciated that.

I loved how I could walk to nearby parks like the famous Water Wall just over 5 km away, while delicious meals were a short stroll from places like Shinwari Afghan Restaurant, less than 1 km from my hotel, making my weekend exploration so enjoyable.

The staff were friendly, and I found the price appealing. However, the room was dirty, and I faced issues with my deposit not being refunded. Additionally, there were roaches and I experienced rude service, leaving me disappointed overall.

It was just a decent option for a weekend getaway in Houston with exceptional value. The shower had great water pressure which was refreshing after a long day. Make sure to check the water temperature before getting in to avoid surprises.
